I AM A HUGE PODCAST FAN.. MY 'PLAYER' GOES WITH ME EVERY WHERE.. i SPEND QUITE A BIT OF TIME IN THE VAN , WAITING FOR JENA.. DANCE, VOICE LESSONS.. AND SO ON.
SO HAVING MY KNITTING & MY PLAYER WITH ME MAKES THE TIME GO & I GET SOMETHING AKCMPLISHED .

IT IS A KNITTING, LIFE PODCAST. SHE TALKS ABOUT HER 7 KIDS & HER KNIT ALONGS.

IF YOU SPEND TIME IN THE VAN/CAR, TRY PODCASTS.

CK ITUNES .. SEARCH UNDER AUDIO PODCASTS, THEN 'KNIT' OR MYSTERIES ..

OUR OLD DUCHESS KITTY IS PRETTY SICK. we HAD HER AT THE VETS A FEW WEEKS AGO & ALL HER BLD WORK CAME BACK GOOD.. SO WHAT TO DO ?? THE OTHER NIGHT JEN & I WERE SEARCHING ON VET SITES & THE only THING THAT SEEMED TO FIT HER SYMPTOMS WAS WORMS !
i CAlled the vet & they said they had a one time treatment . we should actually do it once a year. so both indoor cats received treatment.
The Duchess should improve within 2 weeks .. if not we can do another treatment in a month. But we'll see.. she is 13 yr old.. jena is 14.. so she is sad that Duchess is sick.. I told her we would do this , but there is no guarantee it will work.. we just don't know what is wrong.

anyway.. off to finish up the dishes.. more sewing today.. getting the skirt for jena ready for Easter. She sings her special at both services . she is nervous.. SO please say a prayer for her, that she will glorify God & not just think of her own fears :-)

Hope everyone is having a great day so far.. !

My hubby is home today .. he is taking the kids to the CWS in Omaha .. their all excited..

I was trying to sew a skirt last night.. but realized I was too tired to get to far on it. SO opted for knitting. I'm making another shawl type thingy..:-)
just something to drap over your shoulders on a cool evening or early morning .
the yarn is a beautiful multi , blue, pink & yellow. May sound bad.. LOL
But it's nice .

Well off to finsih laundry.

what to do first ?!

Hello,!

I have been away a long time.
Like everyone else out there life just gets busy.. in good ways and bad.
We had a funeral this week for my cousin.. she was only 45. but in a way it was a blesssing for her.. not for her grown kids or grandbabies ..

I have been handing out my cards for my etsy.com shop , and have two jobs :-)
I made the mistake of stating : custom orders welcome ! so .. :-)

My main goal of late is to get a pattern down for a shopping bag I love.
One that is easy enough , but stylish also . I an entire day making a pattern, revamping it, cutting,, figuring, sewing and fixing.. It came out great.. but b/c of the time spent it wouldn't be economical to sell.. SO .. back to the drawing room !

Well I'm off to get my camera working .. and get some photos on etsy.com : gracielynn
